Unauthorized - The Beatles Puppet |
Presumably from the early 60's this puppet was produced by Pelham Puppets in England. It is presumed that they were meant for export to America during Beatlemania. The puppet seen at left is holding drumsticks in his hands. The box is marked Pelham Puppets Marlborough Wilts and the side has Standard Puppet Pop Singer #6128 and on the other side the stamping STARR backwards. The box contains instructions on how to use the puppet. Notice that you don't have any markings from NEMS ot SELTAEB anywhere. Same goes for the Bealtes name: nowhere to be found. A fine way to avoid paying for licencing this item. |
